Strand Campus were well represented at the recent gaming event which was held after the recent European Games Week event to be held in Dublin was cancelled by the organisers.
Centre Manager Paul Higgins, Company Secretary Richard Lyons and Project Manager, Enda Candon of First Western, attended the event to network with potential tenants for the new gaming hub in development and give the gaming community information on the opportunities on campus.
“We got a good response from the attendees we met” said Paul, “there was a lot of interest in alternatives to Dublin with the rising rents and scarcity of both accommodation and office space and also in a better balance in how people work. We feel that the new block which is in development will compliment the existing Strand Campus space and can attract these businesses”
Work is to begin on the new campus buildings towards the end of 2020.
